Earlier today, ChannelGuide 360 founder Mark Manes announced the addition of an online editor to the internet site. “I am pleased to announce that Julie Gerisch is the new editor of ChannelGuide 360,” said Manes. “Julie brings a great deal of experience and creativity to our team.”

Gerisch, who has written professionally for the past ten years, is also documentary filmmaker.  She recently wrote, produced and directed her first film, a World War II documentary titled Though the Heavens Fall. 

Gerisch says she is looking forward helping develop Manes’ website.  “As an independent filmmaker, I am always interested in ideas and technologies that help bring film and video content in all its forms to the world.  It’s exciting to me that someone in California can produce a vodcast in their garage today, and it can be viewed in India tomorrow.  I am particularly interested in the focus and direction of ChannelGuide 360.  I truly believe we are just beginning to realize the potential of viewing content through the Xbox.  The future is limitless.”
